A  typical  cottage/kuti at Vipassana area (Level 5)

The Vipassana Meditation housing area surrounds the Chanting and Meditation Hall and consists of 35 Kutis most of which are set up for one person.

The area sits on a hilltop, (see Vipassana area on map at first page) so there is a view from each of the Kutis.

All meditation students are requested to stay at the Vipassana Center and Phra Nakprok for the first 15 days.

Each Kuti sits on pilings for maximum ventilation and dryness.

A typical room with teak parquet floors and opening screened windows. The bathing/toilet room are adjoining through a door on the left.
