Just below the hillside temples or Wat Thaton is the new complex of Thammakoson Gardens and Thammakoson Pond.  The large thatched roof on the lake is Hor Pachum the open air instruction theater, with room for 500 students.

The red roofs to the right are the beginning of the new air conditioned housing , meditation hall, and cottages on the canal.

The entrance to Hor Pachum, Thammakoson Garden and Thammakoson Pond is next to the restaurant ,Chez Wat.

The five houses here on the garden can accommodate up to 20, and are modern two bedroom air conditioned self contained units with kitchen, dining, toilet and shower facilities.

The large two storey house on the left has a meditation room upstairs and is available on a limited basis.

We look here from the Southeast corner of the garden toward the West, alongside the three houses that border the canal.

These three structures include a second storey observation deck and two self contained houses with accommodation for six in each.

This open air meeting area Hor Pachum can seat as many as 500, and adjoins the East side of Thammakoson Garden
